NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Feb. 27, 2007 – Healthways, Inc (NASDAQ: HWAY) today announced it has expanded its relationship with Humana (NYSE: HUM) to provide Healthways’ industry-leading Health SupportSM programs, including the SilverSneakers® Fitness Program, to Humana’s Medicare Advantage, Medicare Supplemental and Medicare Prescription Drug Program members in all 50 states, the District of Columbia and Puerto Rico.

The new agreement extends Healthways’ partnership with Humana through 2010, includes an expansion of SilverSneakers to 13 additional states, and expands the reach of other Healthways Health Support options.

“Our members have responded with overwhelming enthusiasm to Healthways’ SilverSneakers Fitness Program," said Gail Miller, vice president, product development and strategy, senior products for Humana. “With that in mind, we are excited to build upon our relationship by making this program available to an extended group of participants. Together, we are offering programs and support to help our members take greater control of their health.”

Other Health Support programs include pedometer-based fitness programs, such as SilverSneakers Steps and Forever Fit. These activity-focused options are available to all Humana Medicare members in all locations. SilverSneakers Splash, a water aerobics program, and SilverSneakers Yoga Stretch, a modified-for-seniors mind, body and spirit option, is available in select areas.
